The San Gabriel Valley takes its name from Mission San Gabriel Arcángel, established by Franciscan Father Junípero Serra on September 8, 1771, near the crossing of the San Gabriel River. The mission was a center of Spanish colonial settlement and remains a significant landmark in the region's history. The valley itself extends east from Los Angeles and encompasses dozens of communities across Los Angeles County, forming one of the most densely populated and ethnically diverse metropolitan regions in California.

Today, the San Gabriel Valley is home to approximately 2 million people living across 30 incorporated cities and unincorporated areas. The region is known for its residential neighborhoods, family-oriented character, and as a center of commerce and small business. It serves as home to working families, first-generation homeowners, and established residents whose ties to the community run deep through church, school, and neighborhood networks.

For families building their lives in the Valley—whether saving for a home, raising children, or maintaining a small business—a term life policy sized to protect those closest to you is the practical promise of that commitment. The right coverage ensures that if something happens to the person bringing in the income, the family's plans and home remain secure.
