Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Nope. To get quotes, simply provide your gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term length. Six quick data points are all we need to pull rates from carriers. Personal details like your name, address, and full health information are collected only if and when you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates each carrier is willing to quote based on the health class you indicated. Your final premium gets locked in after underwriting—the carrier may hold the class steady, move you to a better one, or move you to a different tier. This site makes no promise about price or offers any insurance coverage.
What happens when I click Apply?
Enter your name and the app generates from the exact quote you selected, then shifts to the carrier's own secure platform. You're able to pause and come back later, and signature happens electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance broker (License 0B75129), administers the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies by the underwriting company, the coverage size, and your situation. Carriers offering Immediate coverage can give you a decision on the spot if you meet their guidelines; the quote display notes for each option whether an exam is needed, might be needed, or is not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
Your term should span the years when your family would struggle without your income—paying the mortgage, raising kids, paying off a business line of credit. Extending the term raises the monthly outlay but holds your rate stable for those extra years. The quote tool makes it simple to weigh 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30-year windows.
Does this site sell my information?
Absolutely not. The quote engine doesn't ask for contact info, we don't market or trade visitor information, and tracking is done without cookies. Check the privacy page to see the complete inventory of what gets captured and by which services.
